The heart of our vision is to provide a brighter future for children and their families through education that imparts the life of Christ. No other path offers such solid promise of future success and service as that of Christian education.

Public education in the Dominican Republic is in crisis. Each week the national newspapers report on overcrowded classrooms, teachers without pay, students who attend without textbooks or materials, and failing academic performance. Many students drop out before the fifth grade and less than half of all high school student stay in school long enough to receive a diploma.

Dominican Advance's program for quality Christian education seeks to lift people to a fuller, richer, more productive life. We build quality schools, staff them with state certified Christian teachers, and minister the gospel to parent and child alike. Unlike other organizations that offer "salas de tarea" (study halls) or "escuelitas" (little schools) where students receive unaccredited education, your sponsorship provides fully accredited education to some of the Dominican Republic's most needy children.*
