Jer. 29:11 (NIV) "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

The prophet Jeremiah expressed the heart thoughts of God for Israel and for all people when he recorded these words. Through Jesus Christ the Father gives us a "living hope" and the promise of a purposeful future. He has plans of hope for even the poorest and most oppressed people on the planet.

Dominican Advance exists to give hope and a future to the people of the Dominican Republic who live hopeless and purposeless lives. We do this with faith in the transforming power of the Holy Spirit and of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We exercise our faith in three primary works: Christian education, microbusiness empowerment, and preaching and teaching the Lord Jesus Christ.

  • Child Sponsorship for Quality Christian Education. The heart of our vision is to provide a new future for individuals, families, and cities through education that imparts the life of Christ. No other path offers such solid promise of future success and service as that of Christian education. By matching impoverished children with generous, and prayerful sponsors and with certified Christian teachers, Dominican Advance opens the way for a brighter future.*
  • Christian Microbusiness Empowerment. Frequently referred to as "marketplace missions", microbusiness empowerment provides tools, training, and capital for qualified Christian entrepreneurs who demonstrate a desire and ability to start their own business. Dominican Advance is exploring ways to change the economic future for thousands of Dominicans.
  • Preaching & Teaching Christ. The Pensingers bring 30 years of experience in pastoring and training future pastors to their impact in the Dominican Republic. Future plans include a future missionary training center and ministering in Dominican pastors' conferences.
